I'm hoping the comments are still being monitored on the older posts. Does your recommendation for the amount of starch to use change depending on the type of starch being used? For instance, I'll be using corn starch. Is the ratio still 1/2 c starch to 1 c water? Thank you.

Hello T L,
My post is about the boxed laundry starch. I normally use the soak method with the ARGO starch, it is what I learned to use many many years ago and have stuck with it. I am more familiar with that but some people will use corn starch for a spray starch. What I have seen for recipe for spray starch using corn starch is 1-2 tablespoons to 2 cups of cold water. I would suggest to do a search on the internet asking how to make laundry starch using corn starch and I am sure there are recipes. Some require boiling and stirring the cornstarch and water. I hope this helps some and good luck with it.
Please let us know if the regular cornstarch works. Donna
